Sorry, I didn't know where to open the thread, in here or in Historias de Emigrantes.

It is highly recommendable to watch.

Sorry, I did not know where to open this thread, here or in Immigrant Stories.

http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vientos_de_agua
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0459724/

[The television series] 'Winds of water' tells two parallel stories: that of Jose Olaya (Ernesto Alterio), a young Asturian miner who was forced to emigrate to Argentina in the year 1934 using the legal papers and name of his brother Andrew, and of his son, Ernesto Olaya (Eduardo Blanco), a middle-aged Argentine architect who emigrated to Spain in 2001, also against his will, in search of a solution to the economic problems that beset his family.

Juan Jose Campanella (director of 'The Son of the Bride', 'The Same Love, the Same Rain' and 'Moon of Avellaneda,' among other critical and box office successes) addresses the underlying story line of the television series -- the lives of two immigrants with their struggles, sorrows, joys, triumphs and failures -- with a style that characterizes his filmography: a look that mixes tenderness, humor and a hopeful perspective on the various situations that his characters encounter.

I highly recommend watching it.

Hi, Granda, I've moved it to "Time Media Arts", which means film, TV, video art, etc. Thanks for the tip. It sounds like an interesting series.

Hola, Granda.
