_________________ Hello, I´m a Son of Asturias too, my father came to Uruguay in 1956 from "conceyu de Tineo" where most of my family still living and in Avilés too.

-Muyeres
-La Bandina'l Tombu
-Tuenda
-Balandrán
Espero que fora d'aída.

I think the song was popularized by the Greatest Piper of Asturies, the man from Cangues, José Remis Ovalle.
From the county of Tinéu I think that the most improved is the music with tambourine, large tambourine and that kind of music typical of the Western Asturies, vaqueiradas, careaos, xotes...L'arrobáu, L'araña and other songs for the propper dancing
There is also some more repertoire mostly for accordion, Tinéu is not especially land of pipes, despite there was some piper from there.
I will try to select some group that plays songs from Tinéu, so as to give an example:
-Muyeres
-La Bandina'l Tombu
-Tuenda
-Balandrán
I hope it helps. |
