¿Qué es Hornazo? ¿Es un tipo pan de Pascua?

Trabajo como maestro estudiantil (en entrenamiento). La maestra me pidió si he encontrado un tipo de pan que tiene chorizo y huevos bien hervidos por adentro que se comen durante semana santa.

Le dijé que no sé si es común en Asturies ó no.

Por favor, Enséñame qué es "Hornazo"

What is Hornazo? Is it a type of Easter Bread?

I'm working as a student teacher (in training). The teacher asked me if I have ever encountered a bread that has chorizo and hard-boiled eggs inside and is eaten during holy week.

I told her, "I don't know if it is common in Asturias or not.

Please explain to me what Hornazo is.

I've never heard of the term 'hornazo' in Asturias, it sounds like it might be from elsewhere in Spain or maybe even Latin America. The closest you get to what you describe in Asturias is a 'bollu prenau' (literally, pregnant bread). That consists of a chourizo and often lard inside freshly baked bread.

El "Hornazo" es un plato típico de Salamanca. Se trata de una especie de empanada de lomo, jamón, chorizo y huevo duro.

Si escribes en Internet "Hornazo, Salamanca" , aparecen varias páginas en las que dan la receta y explican de dónde viene la tradición de hacerlo principalmente en Semana Santa, aunque supongo que actualmente se comerá en cualquier época del año.
