Arias foi n'opinión de munchos el más valoratible presidente de la Academia de la Llingua Asturiana (ALLA). Desendolcó esti llabor dende 1981 fasta l'añu 2001. His author is a renowned philologist who made a huge job to what they refer to the Asturian language and heritage. Arias was in opinion of lots of people the best president of the Academy of th Asturian Language (ALLA). He developed this job since 1981 until the year 2001.
