Asturian chef José Ramón Andrés, born in Mieres, but living in the USA, where he has several restaurants (El Jaleo, Washington DC was the first) and where he published books on "Tapas", will have a cooking program on PBS starting May. He's just made the announcement today. The program will be called "Made in Spain" and he will be cooking traditional Spanish dishes, but there will also be modern cuisine with quality traditional ingredients.
So, Bob, Art, Xose, Is, Barbara, Ron, Suronda and all Astur-Americans who like to cook or eat ... this is your chance to learn the little tricks from a pro.
¡Que aproveche! |

Wow thats GREAT!
I will most certainly enjoy this show...hopefully there will be some receipes that have been forgotten as the oldtimers have left us.
I would love to see some of the dishes my Grandmother and my Aunt Tomasina made...there were great cooks.
