My newest grandchild, Ryan Robert Martinez was born in New Haven, CT, at 1:40 AM, Monday, August 29. His mother Juana Morán, una mexicana, is doing well after a very short labor. My son Michael called with the good news a little less than five minutes after the baby was born. My daughter Susan and her daughters Lily (11) and Zoe (9) took care of Ryan's brother Jaden (almost 2). My daughter Kat is on her way from Maryland to help with the babies for a week or so.
Ryan weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and is 20 inches long.
I just wanted to share the good new with everyone.
