LoginHoy me he puesto en contacto con Libreria Cervantes de Oviedo y con Editorial Picu Urriellu para comprar libros.
El problema con estos sitios (entre otros) es el costo de envio.
Alguien puede recomendar algun metodo mas economico (50-100 en correos me parece un paston) para comprar libros sobre Asturias en Norteamerica? (soy de Canada).

Have you looked at AsturShop.com?
Better yet, go yourself. I bring back a suitcase of books and CDs when I return from Asturias. But there are new, lower weight and baggage limitations with all the airlines in Europe.

Mejor aún, ve tú en persona. Traje una maleta de libros y discos cuando regresé de Asturias. Pero hay nuevas limitaciones, sobre menor peso y número de maletas en todas las compañías aéreas en Europa.
Better yet, go yourself. I bring back a suitcase of books and CDs when I return from Asturias. But there are new, lower weight and baggage limitations with all the airlines in Europe.

No Art, fijate que no he probado con esa tienda, pero si con artesaniaasturiana.com que tiene buen surtido pero que como las otras te dan el sablazo con los gastos de envio.
Con esta tienda en particular, pedi envio terrestre hace poco mas de un mes, y la caja de libros aun no llega…
He hecho otro pedido con libreriacervantes.com, tambien de Gijon, pero estoy en espera de que le añadan un libro que esta agotado, despues que se me lo suban a la cesta formalizare el pedido.
Os mantendre al tanto de lo que pasa. Espero que me lleguen mis cosas pronto!!!

No I haven't Art, I tried artesaniaasturiana.com which had a good catalog but just as the others, the price of shipping is very discouraging.
For this particular store I asked for "ground" post and the box has not arrived after one month....
I recently placed another order at libreriacervantes.com, also from Gijon but we are just waiting for an out-of-stock item, after it’s uploaded in my basket I'll complete the order.
I'll keep you posted on both. I hope I get my stuff soon!!!!

Bueno, pues con las nuevas sobre este tema.
Me han llegado mis pedidos de dos tiendas:
-Libreria Cervantes
-Artesania Asturiana
Las dos son experiencias positivas.
En la primera los libros me tardaron en llegar TRES DIAS por que fueron enviados por transportista (Seur) el sistema que tienen es muy agil y eficiente. Pones en tu canasta todo lo que quieres y si hay algun articulo agotado te avisan cuando tu canasta este completa por medio de e-mail. Pagas y en nada tienes tus cosas. Por una caja de dos kilitos con 12 libros de varios tamanos me cobraron 45 euritos por el envio.
En la segunda libreria hay mucho mas surtido y cosillas que se apetecen ,pero como se que en aduanas se pasan sit e envian cosas que no sean libros, pues solo pedi libros. Estos de Artesania Asturiana no estan tan organizados para el comercio en linea como la Cervantes, pero el que me despacho era un encanto, pues eso a mi me cuenta por mucho.
Asi que recomendables. Lo unico que os recomiendo si haceis pedidos es que no pidais el envio por correo, las cosas se pierden y es todo un rollo lo cual me paso con AA pero como el chico era muy majo reconocio que no tenian experiencia con envios internacionales y hasta me envio un regalito extra

All right, these are the news regarding this matter.
I have received my orders from two stores:
-Libreria Cervantes
-Artesania Asturiana
Both have been positive experiences.
For the first one it took 3 days for the books to arrive! They were sent by courier (Seur) and the bookshop’s system is dynamic and efficient. You fill your basket and if there is an item that is not in stock, they’ll e-mail you when your order is complete. Very easy to pay and get your stuff in no time. I paid about 45 euro for a 2-kilo box containing 12 books of various sizes.
The second shop has more variety of products and other non-literary material that is really hard to resist, but since I know that customs can rape you if you order other than books, I was a good girl. They are not properly set up for e-commerce and there was much e-mail exchanging but the employee that took my order was such a sweetheart and to me that counts for a lot.
So I recommend them both, but just keep in mind that is better to pay the slightly pricier courier because if you order the cheaper regular mail, your stuff will get lost and even returned as it happened with AA, but the sweetheart admitted they didn’t have too much experience with international shipping and even sent me a small present

Well, I think its important to know, specially in a forum like this. I wish I knew because I would have only gone to Cervantes if there weren’t irresistible things at Artesania Asturiana!

Bueno es que es importante saberlo, sobretodo en un foro como este. Yo hubiera querido saberlo por que hubiera comprador todo en Cervantes si no es que hubiera tantas cosas tan irresistibles en Artesania Asturiana!
