Daily Headlines from La Nueva Espana

Post by Bob »

If you would like to have the titles of articles in La Nueva Espana (the Asturian newspaper with the largest circulation) sent to you as clickable links each day, you have only to do the followinbg:

Go to the lne site http://www.lne.es/.

Scroll down and select "contacte con lne" from the menu choices on the left.

Select "personalice lne.es" from the menu choices at the top.

Fill in the blanks, being sure to click on "titulares per e-mail" in
whichever format you prefer. By the way, lne really does protect your
privacy. I've never had even a single spam from Spain.

The "Titulares del dia" shows up in your mailbox every morning at about 2:00 or 3:00 eastern US time, and the headlines are all clickable links to the actual articles. They are organized regionally, so if you're mostly interested in Aviles, for example, you can read stories relating to Aviles first.

As you might expect, all articles are in Spanish (castellano), but you can always use a translation engine to get the gist of the article. Spending a few minutes a day day reading an article or two is a pleasant way to improve your Spanish skills.
