Me introduzco en vuestro foro simplemente para daros la enhorabuena. He visto vuestro magnifico documental en canal historia y reconozco que como hijo de emigrantes canarios, me ha tocado el corazón. Es maravilloso que a pesar de la dura competencia de vivir en una cultura diferente e inmersos en una lengua distintas con las dificultades que ello representa luchéis por resguardar vuestros orígenes. Vuestras familias en el cielo seguro que estarán orgullosos. Reitero, enhorabuena.

I'd like to introduce myself here to congratulate you on your work. I've recently seen the magnificent documentary film about Asturian-Americans in the History Channel and as the son of immigrants from the Canary Islands, I can assure you it went straight to my heart. It's truly amazing that despite living in a culture that was so different and after being immersed in a different language you fought to preserve your ethnic identity. Your forefathers in heaven will surely be proud. Again, congratulations.
