Buenas - estoy buscando cualquier información que tenga que ver con mi abuelo que nació por el area de Oviedo, Trubia o Perlavia en el 1900 o 1901.

Mi abuelo y sus padres emigraron a Cuba aproximadamente en el 1906/1907. Mi abuelo murio antes de regresar a Asturias y a mi papa siempre le quedo ese deseo de conocer donde nació mi abuelo. Tengo algunos datos - el nombre y la fecha de nacimiento de mi abuelo, el nombre de sus padres (incluyendo la fecha de nacimiento de su padre). Cuando la familia de mi abuelo se fue de Asturias dejaron su casa y un terreno pequeño - me parece que he dado con el terreno pero no con la dirección de la casa. Ya mi papa esta mayor y quiero hacer su sueño de visitar el hogar de su padre realidad antes que sea muy tarde. Esta es la primera vez que visito esta pagina y no se como funciona pero le agradeceria cualquier pista que me pueda dar. Yo vivo en los Estados Unidos y se me hace muy difícil dar con información acerca de mi abuelo. He tratado de contactar detectives privados pero nadie me responde.

Thank you so much for your prompt response. Below is all the information I have:

My grandfather
Name: Andrés Alvarez Garcia
Date of birth: November 30, 1900 or November 30, 1901
Place of birth: Trubia, Asturia
Mother's name: Valeriana Garcia Alvarez
Father's name: Jose Antonio Alvarez Muñiz

I don't have a copy of my grandfather's birth certificate but I do have a copy of his father's baptism certificate. I figured his information may come in handy as it is likely that the house my grandfather grew up in was in his father's name.

What I know: My grandfather and his family migrated to Cuba in the early 1900s, around 1906/1907, my grandfather reported being around 6 years old when they left Spain. My grandfather reported that his family had some land that was separate from the house he lived in, that his father did not sell the land because he hoped to return to Spain. He reported that weapons were made near the place were he lived, that there was a train.

Per this description I figured my grandfather lived in Trubia. An acquaintance in Spain did an electronic search on the Ministerio de Hacienda y Administraciones Publicas and found a small plot of land in my great grandfather's name (Jose Alvarez Muñiz). I got excited thinking we'd be able to find the house nearby but a) we don't really know if it's truly him as his name is not uncommon and b) the land is located near the town of Buseco which is not super far from Trubia but far enough when you take into consideration that there isn't a straight road from Trubia to this area. Also there are no train tracks there.

Needless to say I am not close to narrowing down where my grandfather grew up. I'm not familiar with the Ministerio de Hacienda y Administraciones Publicas but I had figured that any registry that would show the house and land my great grandfather owned would not be in electronic format. I appreciate any guidance you could give me. It is my father's dream to visit the place my grandfather grew up and I want to make this happen while we still can.

Buseco is up the mountain, but still belongs to Trubia (County Oviedo), as does Perlavia. I'll check it this afternoon. I have some relatives living near the Fabrica de Armas in Trubia, and these people all know each other.

I lost my text 3 times! No luck with my relatives in Trubia.
I hope this works. The pictures are from 2015 and you can use Street View in both Buseco and Perlavía.
They look like they're right next to eachother, but they're on different sides of the Trubia river, i.e. unless there was a bridge nearby it was a long way down the river to Trubia and a long way up again on the opposite bank.

One thing to keep in mind: Buseco is right on the county line, but it belongs to Santo Adriano. So when looking for it, use the zip code 33119. Have fun.

Si se tiene la referencia catastral de la parcela es fácil identificarla en el terreno.

Muchísimas gracias - he podido encontrar un pequeño pedazo de tierra a nombre de mi bisabuelo. Aquí mando la imagen. Sabiendo esa dirección es posible encontrar en otro registro otra información acerca del dueño - por ejemplo la dirección de la casa donde vivía? Si existe esa información por algún lugar me ayudaría a encontrar la casa de mi abuelo.

La verdad que no esperaba mucha tierra dado a que la familia de mi abuelo era pobre pero todavía así me sorprende el tamaño. En los años 70 y pico unos abogados de Oviedo le escribieron a mi abuelo en Cuba pidiendo permiso para vender la tierra que tenía en España. Mi abuelo murió´antes de darle una respuesta y al cabo de un año le escribieron de nuevo - esas cartas o se perdieron o están muy bien guardada por la casa de mi abuelo en Cuba pero nunca he dado con ellas. Siempre quedó por entendido que esa tierra de la cual hablaban los abogados era la tierra de mi bisabuelo (la que tal parece he encontrado) pero ahora me parece difícil creer que he dado con ella pues esos abogados se tomaron el trabajo de buscar un heredero que salió de España a los 6 años, dar con su dirección en Cuba y todo por un terreno de 1.49m2? Veo por las fotos de Google Maps que por el terreno pasa una linea de alta tension, no se si la oferta de comprar la tierra era para pasar esa linea por ahi. Existen otros registros de haciendas y propiedades que no estén informatizados?
