Unfortunately, it seems that they are not good times for emigrated documents.
These days in Boal a Symposium on emigration has been held, celebrating the centenary of the publication "El Progreso de Asturias".
The professor of history of the Complutense University of Madrid, Gustavo Hernán Prado said: "As there is no generational relief in the destination countries, the heritage that was perserved for decades, it is lost; there are descendants, but culturally they are already from there; and the heritage, everything that is saved for years related to the making of emigration Spanish, is lost, sold or even thrown away. ".
Also reminded the emigrant from Navia, Rafael Fernández Calzada, "the first Spanish to validate a university degree in Argentina"
