Procesiones de Semana Santa / Easter Processions

Post by Terechu »

It's been years since I spent Easter week at home and although it's just started, I'm already fed up to my back teeth with the processions on TV at all times. One moment it's the "Cristo con dos pistoles"" then "Our Lady of the Commissary"! Good thing we Asturians have always been Christians and have nothing to prove, so that the pall-bearing fanatism is not very deeply rooted here. Those third-world (my excuses to the third world) processions, so sadistic and sinister just make my hair stand on end. Those of other European countries are perfectly normal.
How much nicer the Easter Bunny is...especially this funky one singing Rapper's Delight!
