First mayor of Anmoore Victor Gonzalez Dies at 81

Post by Ron Gonzalez »

Victor Gonzalez was born February 8, 1925 in Anmoore, West Virginia, where he remained a lifelong resident. Victor was the seventh child born to Consuelo Rodriquez Gonzalez and Manual Gonzalez.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Gonzalez and Nita Muniz, and two brothers, Joe and Augustine Gonzalez. Victor is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Nelson (Mary) Bauld and Mrs Chester (Connie) Kempczenski.

We will miss Victor, and Delfina Fernandez, Josephine Alvarez, and all the ones who are no longer with us. The Asturian community is saddened. We are growing smaller every year.
