Carlos Gamoneda, Premio Cervantes 2006

Asturian poet Carlos Gamoneda has been awarded the Cervantes Prize 2006, which is the equivalent of the Nobel Prize of Literature for Spanish language writers. Gamoneda has also received the prestigious poetry prize "Premio Reina Sofia de Poesía" this year.
