Información sobre Guillermo Martínez García - Al Capone g

Post by Alfredo Rodriguez »

[Art: translation below]

Gracies collacios!!

My name is Alfredo Rodriguez and I am a journalist with the newspaper El Tapin (www.eltapin.com) which is published in the municipality of Llanera (Asturias) monthly.

I write because I am inquiring about a resident from our area who deceased some years ago, Guillermo Martinez Garcia (1889-1961), a person from Cayes, a town belonging to Oviedo. He emigrated to the United States and was a member of Al Capone's gang.

I'm gathering some information by talking to Guillermo's neighbors, the people who knew him, but they have not been able to provide much information about his stay in the United States. I do not know if there is any organization or agency that would have more information, or If I could get information through you.

I would appreciate any guidance you could give me.

Thanks, colleagues/friends!
