La Carpa d'Asturies n'An Oriant: Espardiendo cultura

La representación d'Asturies nel Festival Intercélticu d’An Oriant faese notar.

The Asturies' tent in Ar Oriant: spreading culture

The Asturies representatives in the Interceltic Festival of Ar Oriant becomes more than noticeable.

In the core of the Breizh (Brittany) Street, the main popular stage of the festival, there are settled different tents with cultural information about the different countries participating in the festival: Wales, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Scotland, Asturies, Ireland, Brittany and Galice.

Among them the Asturies' tent highlights the cultural and ethnographic feature of cider, with a very good mention to the Cangas' wine and some other Asturian identity signs under the slogan "Keepers of the Paradise", aprt of a great sample of our gastronomy (Cabrales' cheese, spelt bread and much more).

Ironicaly it is the onle tent in which the written explanations do not appear in their own language besides French, meanwhile in the Galicia's tent or Ireland's or any other people could read it in two languages. What's more, even when the festival takes place in Brittany, the explanations were not in French either, just in Spanish.
