LLIMIAGO

Llimiago = slug, a type of snail without shell

The word comes from the latin: limax

Marta, is llimiago ever used as an insult or a mote?

Yes, Art, it could be. It is used for a skinny person, for example. Even, it may be used for a unskillful person. Always, in a derogatory manner.

Thanks, Marta. I've heard one of our forum members call someone he didn't like "babosa," but I don't think I've heard anyone use "llimiago."
