A orielles d'una fonte
a una mocina vi,
y col ruíu del agua
acerquéme hasta ellí
y oyí una voz que dicía:

Coyila de la mano,
conmigo la llevé,
y na so dulce cara
tres besos-y dexé,
y entós díxome la neña:
-otros tres, otros tres, y son seis.


At the edge of a fountain
I saw a girl

I drew myself close to her
