Aldea de Aramil

I was wondering if anyone else is searching for the family of Valentina CAMINO PALACIO, born about 1880 in “Aldea de Aramil”. In her obituary it lists her siblings as Celsa, Hignio, Jose & Herminio. We believe that they remained in Spain. Her parents were Casimiro CAMINO & Josefina PALACIO.

Valentina and her husband Sandalio DIAZ FERNANDEZ, were married in Spain, then moved to the United States, then Cuba – where Valentina died in 1919. After her death Sandalio returned to Spain with all the children except the eldest daughter who was married by then (my g-grandmother)

Any help would be appreciated, Gracias, Annette

Hello Annette,
Although Aramil is no longer such a small village, it is small enough for everyone to know eachother and their relatives.
As it has a parish church of its own, San Esteban de Aramil, you may want to write the parish priest and ask for the information you need.

Sr. Cura Párroco
Parroquia de San Esteban
33510 Aramil - Siero
Asturias

Good luck!
