One simple and free option is to use Picasa (Google Picasa and select download), save it to your hard drive and then run it to install. It's free and published by Google itself. Once it scans your hard drive for photos, select the one you want. The click "file," then click "export." This will let you adjust the number of pixels. Save it and send it on to the website. The program also lets you make other adjustment to your photos, such as cropping, red eye correction, color balance, highlights and shadows, etc.
There are many other options too, but they will cost you money. Photoshop Elements is good and is only $99. The full Adobe Photoshop 7 will run about $700 and has more options and controls than most of us could possibly want. |
