Saludos
Sidrerias? You must be joking mate This is an islamic country. There is only a short of Spanish restaurant where they sell a sort of plastic chorizo with sidra subsitute. If you are coming over just let me know and I will meet you up one day

Hi granda, welcome to the forum. I can't imagine how isolated you must feel over there in Dubai. But, at least here at the forum you can almost feel at home.

A word to Is.... Dude, I think you're gonna have to pack your own sidra for that trip! Pack a little extra for granda, too.

Un comentario a Is.....

Welcome Granda! Aren't you the lucky one, though, getting sent to the Emirates, it could have been one of those fanatisized kingdoms in the area - I won't name any names - where the hotels will have Time magazine available, but with the images of women censored with felt-tip pens or full pages torn out altogether.
Just enjoyyourself and take advantage of the experience as something positive, don't rush back to the rain.

Thanx for the post.
who told you that this doesn't happen here? it is true that it is the most relaxed country of the Area but here we got get the images of Time censored.
In fact I cant access to the site www.asturiasnatural.com as ...

QUOTED

We apologize the site you are attempting to visit has been blocked due to its content being inconsistent with the religious, cultural, political and moral values of the United Arab Emirates.
??????

I think that everything comes from Pelayo y Covadonga :D
-----------

---------------------------------------------------------
We're gonna have to revive king Pelayo! I was told that the UAE and Qatar were the most "tolerant" countries, but that is obviously a relative perception. The fact that they have blocked the internet access to Asturias Natural for the reasons listed shows how paranoid they are. Soon they'll block us too. Oh well...they're none of our business.

It's still nice to dream with a refreshing culin at the edge of the desert. Btw, whenever I've managed to smuggle cider into the country and pour it at friends' barbecues on 16th St, passersby stop dead in their tracks. They think it's a new kind of drink acrobatic by the college crowd...

Enfin, Granda, Time Magazine tampouco paga muitu la pena l.leelo, asina que nun te pierdes nada. Maybe you can take up falconeering, los ferres que tan entrenaos pa garrar outros paxaros?
