Warning: Luis Argeo owns the copyright on his video

Please respect Luis' copyright.

Making copies of the documentary would deny Luis and his partners a means of recuperating the significant costs that went into making the video.

Whether you would be giving the copies away or selling them, whether you would be receiving the video for free or buying it, you would be harming one of us: another Asturian. It would also be illegal.

I encourage all of us to wait for the official release of the documentary.

In the event that you're not convinced by a moral, ethical, and legal argument, let me suggest a more practical reason for waiting. If you wait for the official copy, you'll get a DVD with much better quality than a copy taken from the TV broadcast. Then everyone wins, except for the bootleggers.

I second all that Art has said, and I am indeed fortunate in having an early copy of the DVD with Luis' kind permission. Once it is formally released, I will buy copies for myself and my family members, and additional copies for the university where I work.

Ron, would you be willing to call WVPBS to ask about their plans for distribution? I'll write Luis a quick note.

--------------------------

¿Ron, puedes llamar a WVPBS y pedir sobre sus planes de distribución? Escribiré un correo a Luis.

Today I've called WVPBS, at long last its for sale. The cost is $30. You can order at: audienceservices@wvpubcast.org. I hope everyone will enjoy it.

Again, I would like to thank Luis for telling the story of the forgotten people of Asturias, and Spelter.
